Our Caring Staff
Born and bred in Kansas City, she has a Bachelor’s of Business Administration degree from Avila University. Mariann has worked in the animal care industry for 6 years as a practice manager. Prior to joining our team, she worked in the accounting/finance field in both the public and private sectors. Her love for animals brought her to Oak Park, our ‘Animals First’ philosophy and our staff dedication convinced her to come and join our team. She is a dedicated animal advocate and has 2 dogs and 2 cats of her own.
Teresa Musick joined our team in January, 2009 as our Veterinary Technician. She comes to us with 10 years of experience working with animals and animal rescue organizations in Kansas City, on both sides of the state line, and she continues to do volunteer work in her free time. Teresa has a Bachelor's Degree in secondary education from UMKC. Her love of animals and her positive attitude are a welcome addition to our team. Teresa has 2 dogs and 2 cats.
